The Youth Office of the City of Belgrade, in cooperation with CEPORA – Center for Positive Youth Development, organizes peer education in Belgrade for three preventive-educational campaigns:
1. Either you drive or you drink – the campaign is successful in promoting the safe behavior of young people in traffic by pointing out the harmful effects of drinking;
2. NO to hate speech – the campaign is about fighting hate speech, developing tolerance and promoting diversity;
3. Gender equality – The campaign is aimed at improving gender equality among young people.
So far, over 200 educators have gone through the program, who have completed workshops with over 3,000 Belgrade high school students. A new peer education cycle will be implemented in the Fall of 2020.
