Developmental-prevention Center is a program that is continuously conducted from July 2013, in cooperation with the Center for Care of Infants, Children and Youth in Belgrade. The overall objective of the program is to improve the quality of dormitory life for children without parental care, through the creation and development of an environment that encourages and supports their positive development, independence and social integration.

The program deals with organized, planned, structured and targeted implementation of activities with developmental, educational, preventive, drama and creative character with children without parental care are in institutions. The program includes children in care at the Center for Care of Infants, Children and Youth in Belgrade (dorm”Drinka Pavlović”, dorm “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” and dorm “Mosa Pijade”, as well as the Shelter for urgent protection of abused children), aged 7 to 22 years. Work with children is conducted on a weekly basis, through specially designed workshops, each lasting 90 – 120 minutes.

So far we implemented over 800 workshops, which were attended by over 300 children.
