Who do you see when you look in the mirror? Is this the same person that others see? Is this the person you think you are? A group of young dancers and non-dancers embarked on a months-long adventure through applied theater and contemporary dance and created an interactive drama and dance show called Mirror. The play takes us through the path of personal identity development in adolescence and explores all of our dark and challenging stops along the way.

        

The play “Mirror” was created on the initiative of the young people we work with with a wish to connect dance and applied theater, to help a group of dancers to strengthen their expression skills through movement and to deepen their understanding of the use of movement as an integral element of human representation, while young non-dancers had the opportunity to help their peers to plunge into the waters of applied theater but also to relax and let their body tell the story.
