Through the project “Prevention of risky behavior in school children through sport and education in six cities in Serbia”, a network of volunteers – sports coaches, educators, teachers working with young people – has been developed that use sports and educational contexts to encourage the development of significant social skills of students, such as resisting peer pressure to engage in risky activities, dealing with anxiety, and communicating effectively with peers through a set of interactive and fun exercises.

The pilot phase of the project was realized during the 2017/2018 school year. in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac and Nis. In the school year 2018/2019, schools from Novi Pazar and Leskovac are included. The project has been implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and with the financial support of the OSCE Mission to Serbia.
