• Mission
Our mission is planned development and continuous improvement of effective and sustainable prevention programs that are based on principles of contemporary theory, research and practice of prevention, and that promote positive youth development and healthy lifestyles of youth.

 

• Goals 

-   Science-based assessment of community readiness, community capacities and resources  

-   Quantitative and qualitative assessment of risk and protective factors, health problems and behavior problems in community

-   Planning and conceptualization of prevention program models

-   Improving readiness, capacities and resources of communities for planning and implementation of prevention programs

-  Conceptualization, testing and innovation of prevention strategies and interventions

-   Implementation of prevention programs

-   Process and outcome evaluation of prevention programs

-   Advocacy of relevant theories, research and organisations that are focused on prevention

-   Advocacy of effective, sustainable and evidence-based prevention programs

-   Influencing on political decision-making that is related to prevention of behavior and health problems

-   Increasing availability of prevention programs to local communities

-   Creating a platform for gathering, exchange and dissemination of data on prevention

-   Educating other organisation about technology of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of prevention programs

-   Educating experts practitioners that are working with youth about the conceptual and methodological framework of behavior and health problems prevention

Professors, associates, PhD and MSc students of the Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation, the Faculty of Security Studies and the Faculty of Political Sciences.
-   Experts with experience in the area of special education and rehabilitation, social protection, youth safety and prevention of health problems and behavior problems.
